Unto George Carlin, from whose eyes the veil of life hath fallen, may he be granted the accomplishment of his True Will.

Um....field trip?
I think I want to be a copy editor. Because apparently it's a job in which you don't have to think.
For anyone who's ancestral members came through Ellis Island...
This is what I keep getting from Yahoo when I try to get to my groups!!!

It's usually in Yahoo news that I catch glaring and astounding errors in syntax, grammar, and general knowledge. Well, in my world, Fox 11 TV here in L.A. was not about to be outdone this Monday morning.
During a story about the bankruptcy and closure of Aloha Airlines, one reporter was explaining exactly how Aloha's immediate closure would affect customers flying today. She explained that there would be one last flight leaving from L.A. to Hawaii this morning, and that would be Aloha's last flight, for good. This reporter, presumably someone who managed to gank some type of journalism or communications degree from something that somehow got accredited as an institution of learning beyond high school, or at least kindergarten, stated, "Passengers on the morning flight will be able to get to Hawaii, however those people who wish to leave Hawaii and get back to the U.S. will have to find another way to do so."

I found the following picture in an online exhibit called, "70 Years In New York". Just curious if anyone knows the origin of this/people in the picture...
One word to describe me -- just one single word. Leave it in my comments.

I spent most of the weekend at Blue Horizon Oasis' annual Massathon, which was absolutely incredible!!! Saturday was begun by the extraordinary Mass performed by Lon and Connie Duquette, then capped off by one Mass performed by the glorious Brother B. and Sister E. from Jacksonville, FL - Warrior Island Camp, and a beautiful Mass performed by H. and J. from Boston.
I did Mass yesterday morning with Soror Lilith, who's out of Abrahadabra Oais in Portland, ME. She was an awesome Priestess, and the whole ritual was an absolute joy! After that it was Soror Sophia and Frater Apollion, along with the Ararita Chorus doing a joyous Mass that brought tears to my eyes.
It was also great to see old faces from near and far, and meet new ones.
Massathon rocks!

1. Pick 15 of your favorite movies.
2. Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie.
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Fill in the film title once it's guessed.
Some of these may be difficult and obscure, but give it a try...
